2004 President, Burl Daniel Associates Insurance Expert Witness for the legal profession, providing attorneys with technical insurance advice surrounding insurance litigation. Expertise includes serving as consulting and / or expert witness for attorneys, and insurance / risk management consulting for private business.
2001-04 Sr. Vice President, Frost Insurance Agency, Fort Worth, TX Duties included insurance sales, advice and service for insurance clients, as well as marketing through Frost Bank network. Frost is in the top 100 national and regional agencies in the U.S.
1988-2001 Principal: Milrany Scott Insurance/AIS Agency, Fort Worth, TX. Insurance agency management included carrier negotiations, agency employee management, sales and service for insurance clientele. Duties included monitoring carrier loss runs, negotiating carrier contracts, and acquisition of several other insurance agencies. Milrany Scott merged with AIS Agency in 1996.

1975-76 Assistant Insurance and Risk Manager, Gulf States Utilities, Beaumont, TX. Gulf States was the primary electricity provider between Conroe, TX and Baton Rouge, LA. Duties included managing self-insurance and large deductible programs regarding company Workers Compensation Insurance, Commercial Auto Insurance, and Property Insurance, General Liability Insurance, and Commercial Umbrella. Experience included managing claims for power plants, international oil shipments, nuclear power plant facilities, and Employee Benefits for 4,000 employees.
